What's the deal with "Old Henry"? I mean, here's a film that's all about a grizzled farmer in the late 19th century defending his land like it's the last piece of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving dinner. And the guy's name isn't even Henry! It's like calling a movie "Old Steve" and the main character's name is Bob.
And speaking of names, I don't know about you, but when I hear the name "Old Henry", I'm picturing a guy with a cane, bifocals, and a penchant for yelling at kids to get off his lawn. But this Henry, played by Tim Blake Nelson, is more like a cross between Clint Eastwood and Chuck Norris. One minute he's ploughing the fields, next he's out there gun-slinging like he's auditioning for a role in The Magnificent Seven.
The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976):
