Small Town Crime (2017)
An ex-cop struggling with alcoholism discovers a woman left for dead on the roadside. He nobly offers his services pro bono as a private investigator to find her killer. Subsequently, her grandfather hires him, and things take a sinister turn.
This crime thriller, while smooth and engaging, weaves a plot that lacks coherence. It's watchable, but may require an additional element of entertainment to keep you occupied.

The Nice Guys (2016):
Another terrific movie to watch if you loved Small Town Crime is The Nice Guys. Directed by Shane Black, the film is infused with elements of humor, mystery, and action. It stars Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe as private eye duo in the 70s, unraveling the scandalous truth behind a high-profile murder.
Mystery Road (2013):This Australian crime thriller, directed by Ivan Sen, features an indigenous detective who returns to his small town to solve the mysterious murder of a young girl. The film's intricate storytelling and heightened suspense echo elements of Small Town Crime.
Cold in July (2014):Based on Joe Lansdale's novel, this film examines the impacts and aftermath of a homem intruder's killing. Directed by Jim Mickle, it provokes thought about justice, revenge, and the thin line of morality, similarly to Small Town Crime.
Blue Ruin (2013):Blue Ruin is a griping indie thriller directed by Jeremy Saulnier.
